Photography
Quiet frames of people being entirely themselves — the pause before a laugh, the hand that never lets go.

Hi, I'm
Visual Storyteller · Photographer · Cinematographer · Drone Pilot · Memory Collector
Every photograph is more than an image. Every film is more than motion. Every memory deserves to live forever.

The Story Behind The Camera
My story doesn't begin with a childhood DSLR. It begins on a bicycle in 2013 — pre-dawn roads, long climbs, and the Tour of Nilgiris, where I watched hundreds of riders take on mountains. In 2015 I bought an action camera, not to make films, but because I didn't want those mornings to disappear.
Years of career followed. Amazon, a business of my own, then Cognizant. Photography stayed a hobby until February 2024, when we married — and our wedding photographs simply never arrived. Weeks turned into months. Months turned into almost a year of my wife asking the same question: any update?
One evening I finally said it out loud: enough — I'll learn this myself, and our memories will never sit in someone else's hands again. Then, scrolling through old photos, something more unsettling landed. Entire stretches of my life had quietly faded. Birthdays, trips, ordinary evenings. Had I really lived them if I could barely remember them?
So I learnt on the people I love most. Every walk became a sequence, every dinner a documentary. A first maternity session in November 2025. Then, on 6 February 2026, our son arrived — and photography stopped being a hobby. It became a way of holding onto time.
Between shoots you'll find me flying drones, riding, reading about aviation and AI, testing new gear I absolutely did not need, and drinking more coffee than I should. Cameras, apparently, reproduce when left unattended. My wife has accepted this entirely reasonable behaviour. Mostly.
My Philosophy
I don't simply capture photographs. I preserve chapters of people's lives.
Stories outlive trends.
Technology changes. Memories don't.
The greatest investment isn't gear. It's trust.
Luxury isn't expensive. Luxury is timeless.
What Keeps Me Curious

Quiet frames of people being entirely themselves — the pause before a laugh, the hand that never lets go.

Films that move at the pace of memory. Long takes, natural sound, honest colour that ages well.

Altitude changes the story. A village, a coastline, a wedding lawn — scale makes the ordinary monumental.
Where it all began. Tour of Nilgiris, pre-dawn rides, mountains that taught me discipline before cameras did.

New sensors, new codecs, new AI workflows. I test relentlessly so clients never think about any of it.

Sunday light on the floor, the cat asleep in the leaves. Ordinary days are the ones we miss most.

The Tools Behind My Vision
I care about equipment the way a pilot cares about instruments — deeply, quietly, and never in front of the passengers. Here's what travels with me.

Behind The Scenes
Pre-dawn call times and cold coffee. Waiting forty minutes for a newborn to fall asleep. Chasing wind windows so a drone shot stays steady. Sitting in a dark room at 2am matching skin tones frame by frame, because a family will look at this in 2056.
Beautiful imagery is mostly patience, preparation and refusing to leave until the moment happens.

Kind Words
“Vikram photographed our maternity session two weeks before our daughter arrived. He never once made it feel like a shoot — and the album still makes my mother cry.”

A missing wedding album taught me that a photograph is a time machine with a very short warranty. Here is what changed in how I work.
